If you enjoy meeting and working with people and are prepared for constant travel and hard work, coupled with long irregular hours then this may be the job for you.
The most important part of this position is thorough knowledge of safety procedures and emergency equipment, gained through training and experience. Cabin Crew are responsible for the wellbeing and safety of passengers on board the aircraft. They must work well as part of a team.
Cabin Crew duties include:
Welcoming and assisting passengers to their seats.
Preparing them for take off and landing.
Demonstrating emergency procedures and checking safety equipment.
Making announcements over the Public Address System.
Serving food and drink and completing pre-flight checks of catering and cabin supplies.
Accepting payment for bar sales and duty free/in-flight sales and giving change in various currencies (you must be numerate).
Taking care of unaccompanied minors, elderly passengers and disabled passengers etc.
