The position of Passenger Service Agent is to give each passenger a friendly, efficient, professional and personal service thus making the passengers experience at the airport an enjoyable one.
Passenger Service Agent duties include:
Clerical duties, reservations and ticketing.
Checking passengers in at check-in.
Boarding Passengers.
Escorting passengers to and from the aircraft, through Airport Controls, Immigrations and Customs.
Assisting passengers with mishandled checked bags i.e. lost, damaged, pilfered or bags that arrive at an airport in error.
Assisting customers with all enquiries, which may be by telephone or in person and attending to the passengers needs.
Making arrival/departure announcements.
